Sacramento : Health : The Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention
The Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention is a research-based program that specializes in teaching children with autism, pervasive developmental disorders, and related developmental disabilities. The program provides services nationwide. The UCLA Model of Applied Behavior Analysis was created and developed in the Psychology Department of UCLA under the direction of Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas. It is based on extensive clinical experience and more than 40 years of scientific research. The Lovaas Institute continues and improves upon this work under the direction of Dr. Lovaas.
